These two fairly even sides managed to produce an exciting match. Diss batted first, and reached 88 off their 20 overs. Charlie Webster retired on 23 and Karl Dade was Joe Melvin's first wicket after several good hits. Fred Southgate, Craig Taylor and Matthew Firman all took 2 wickets. Garboldisham were soon in trouble. Charlie Webster and S Oyitch haaving them at 6 for 3 before Craig Taylor and Simon Dye led the recovery. R Bedwell and W Dawson fought back, restricting Garboldisham to 80 for 9 after their 20 overs.
