Sunday Team
The Sunday Team plays other local teams throughout the summer, with a mixture of youth and experience. In a change to previous years, they were led by one player all season, Steve Dunnett, and had mixed fortunes - wins, losses and draws. From 1999 onwards, all non-cup sunday fixtures will be played as local friendlies rather than against teams we might face in the league. The sunday team gives a good chance to face competitive cricket without the result being significant in the context of relegation or promotion chances. Each player has to provide a tea in the year - the same system that operates throughout the club.
