The Teams

We run 5 teams at Garboldisham; the first team compete in the Norfolk Alliance Division 2, and the seconds in Division 3A. The indoor team compete in the winter, in the Wymondham indoor cricket League. We also have a junior team who compete in the local U16 league, and a sunday team who take part in friendlies.

The first team are all listed individually below, with a summary of the 1998 season. They were promoted from the Kings League (now Hansell Stevenson League) in 1997, and did well in their first ever season in the Alliance in finishing fourth. With the first two teams to be promoted, they hope to gain one of those spots this season

The second team did not fare as well in their first Alliance Year, finishing bottom of their league. With a lot of younger players in the squad, they hope to improve on that this year.

The junior team is new this year, as although in the past we have had a junior team they have never entered competitive league cricket. Hopefully this experience should make the transition into senior league cricket easier for them.
