Introductory Message from the Webmaster:

This site was started at about the same time of the forming of the 51st (and Greatest) State of the Union/Confederacy -- New Bob! Right after becoming the 51st state, it slipped right away to the 50th, then the 49th, then 48th, etc., as New Bob began absorbing more and more of its neighboring states. More about the Great State of New Bob will be included here in the future.

Please send us your comments. Especially need some good links to promote enjoyment of the Tri-City Area (New Bob City, Septic City, Piggly Wiggly Valley).

What ho, space travelers! Greetings fellow citizens of the Great State of New Bob, visitors, and transients! I bid you welcome to the O-fficial State Home Page. New Bob is a State where some of the fine thangs about the Appalachian Mountain region migrate and fester.

The O-fficial State of New Bob Home Page is brought to you as a public service of your gu'ment so as promote tourism and discourage vagrancy (that's a fine line) and to reduce complaining because there's nothing much to do in New Bob except root through the Walmart dumpsters.

Well, that ain't the case, and over my next 12 year term in office, I'll be bringing you more exciting activities and happ'nin's in our great State. Most of the news will be about the capital city and the Tri-City area.

If you run across any good sites that you think the folks of New Bob might like to check out, please drop me a line, or (better yet) just post it at alt.appalachian (the O-fficial newsgroup of New Bob). I particularly like the audio links where we can listen to all kinds of mountainized things.

If you're thinking about telling me about "how to get rich with chain letters", or sharing the lasted necked site, or sending a binary of some old photo you found stuck to the floor of the wash house, we've just about reached our quota on these for awhile thank you very much. Otherwise it's wide open.
