Andrew J. Stancil was the son of Samuel A. & Nancy E. Whisenant Starks Stancil. Sarah Exie Patty Stancil was the daughter of John Perry & Martha J. Virginia 'Matty' Plemons Patty.
Andrew was born October 12, 1884 and died March 23, 1949. Exie was born July 1890 and died January 29, 1939. They were married October 13, 1909 in Catoosa County, Georgia. Both are buried in Anderson Cemetery, Ringgold, Catoosa County, Georgia.
