HEART OF STONE

Why do you love me?
This heart of stone.
These eyes mistrusting.

I wonder what you see.
Perhaps a spark of love deep within.
Left there after the pain.

Please!! Help me!! To find the spark.
To rid myself of the bitterness and pain.
I'm tired of being lonely.

I want to be free.
To love again.
I want to love you.
