Field Camp Pictures
These pictures were taken at various locations during Georgia State Geology
Field Camp. Field camp is a course which is required for all majors in which
students learn to make geologic maps. Montana was the chosen location because of
its excellent rock exposure. We left Georgia on June 11th and arrived in Dillon, MT
on June 14th. Field camp ended on July 15th, giving us a whole month of working
time. The first few days of the trip were spent in Yellowstone National Park, where most
of these photos were taken.
