"Where is Kiara?" Daddy growled.
"I-I don't know," Kovu replied.
"I told you if you wanted to get close to my daughter, you'd have to watch her."
"I can't be her shadow 24/7, Simba. Besides, even if I could, why would I?"
"Because I need someone she can trust following her...not Timon and Pumbaa. The deal was for you to tell her that you love her and then she'd trust you. She'd think you were following her just to be with her."
I gasped.
"Listen, Simba," Kovu murmured. "I know that was the deal, but did you ever think that maybe I actually do love her? And that maybe the only reason I agreed to watch over Kiara was because I want to actually spend time with her?"
Daddy sighed. "I thought this might happen. Kovu, you cannot get involed with Kiara....you cannot! That will only put her in danger. Zira..."
"Forget about Zira. I can handle Zira."
"I have no choice then. I forbid you to be here any longer. This is for the good of my daughter. Go! GO! Back to her...back to Zira. I have made my judgement...you are not welcome here."
