But, what really excites me is when I can tell somebody that there is a way back to GOD from the dark paths of sin. To tell dying men and women everywhere that Jesus longs to forgive them and give them another chance.
It is hard to really imagine how much GOD Loves us. But GOD'S Grace shows His Love for us. When we were dead in trespasses and sin, He raised us up to sit in Heavenly places with His Son, Jesus Christ.
Not because of anything we've done that we deserved His Love, but it was because of His Mercy.
Sometimes GOD sends preachers with a fire and brimstone message. GOD says how He hates sin and the soul that sins will die. That if you cover your sins you will not prosper. That your sins will surely find you out.
There is a Hell. There is a Judgment and if you don't turn to GOD you're doomed. But the message doesn't end there. The Bible says that GOD commended His Love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We owed GOD and we couldn't pay, so GOD was in Christ reconciling the world back to Himself.
The Bible says that in the ages to come, GOD is showing the exceeding riches of His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. GOD Loves to forgive. The Bible says that He is always leaning toward forgiveness. GOD loves to say, "I know you did it, but I forgive you."
There's hope for you and there's hope for me. We have all sinned and come short of the Glory of GOD. I know that you can say along with me, that if GOD would count up my sins I couldn't stand before Him. We all had a death sentence over our head.
Paul said, "When I would do good, evil was present and I've got a dead man hanging onto me. How can I be delivered from the body of this death?"
Wherever you are... Whoever you are... Whatever you've done... There's no sin so great, no stain so dark but Jesus will forgive you of your sins and cleanse you from every stain.
GOD said, "Come boldly to the Throne of Grace." You can be free today. GOD will set you free by the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. It was shed for you.
The wonder of it all.
