GOD did not promise us that we would live a life of smooth sailing. That nothing would ever go wrong once we give our lives to Jesus. Yes, we will have trouble, but GOD promises us that He will deliver us from all of our troubles.
Sometimes in this life we run into a brick wall and our world seems to come crashing down on us. Sometimes, because of our own foolishness and our own bad judgments, we find ourselves in trouble. But GOD does not forsake us.
GOD Loves us and He tenderly watches over us. He remembers that we are just dust. He remembers that we are just flesh and He reaches out His Hand to deliver us. He said, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you."
It's not because of our goodness. It is not because we deserve it. It is because of GOD'S great Love that He has for us. Like a father pities his children, so GOD pities us. And He wants to help us.
Yes, trouble comes to all of us. The enemy will bring anything to hurt you and tear you down. he is subtle and sneaky and will use loved ones to hurt you so that you can take your eyes off of Jesus Christ. he wants you to think that Jesus has forgotten you, that you are not loved. he brings trouble into your life but GOD said that HE is our Strength in the time of trouble.
Look at Jesus, Himself. He suffered in this life, sometimes in terrible, sometimes in almost unbearable ways. And, He knows the pain of trouble. He feels our sorrows. He knows what we're going through. He said, "Cast your cares upon Me, for I care for you."
Sometimes, it is our own fault that we are in trouble. Sometimes we are ashamed to go before GOD because we know that what we are involved in is our own fault.
But GOD is not cheering over your trouble. Jesus is not laughing and saying, "It's what they deserve." But Jesus is saying, "Come to me. Give it to me. I Love you."
GOD said, "If My People, who are called by My Name, would humble themselves and pray, seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land."
Psalms 107 tells how the People of GOD rebelled against the Word of GOD and turned from the counsel of the Most High and they ended up in trouble. But they cried unto the Lord in their trouble and He delivered them. He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them out of their distresses.
No matter what you are going through. No matter how dark things seem, no matter how hopeless things are for you. The marshal may be knocking at your door. Your boss may be heading your way with the pink slip in his hand. The doctor may be dialing the next of kin. The executioner may be pulling down the switch. But if you give it to Jesus and trust in His Word, Jesus will deliver you.
I promise you that GOD is going to deliver you out of that trouble. GOD is going to turn that situation around. GOD is going to fix that family problem. Just have faith. Trust in Jesus.
GOD said, "I will deliver you out of six troubles and in seven, I won't leave you alone. Before you call I will hear you. And while you are yet calling, I will answer."
There's no need to cry anymore. There's no need to worry. It's in GOD'S Hands. He will bring you out with victory. The name of Jesus will be magnified.
Victory, Victory shall be mine Victory, Victory shall be mine If I hold my peace Let the Lord fight my battles Victory, Victory shall be mine
The wonder of it all
