Ode to a Cheesecake
by ~Rhys~ (© 10-8-98)
How do I love thee,
let me count the ways.
Covered in strawberry,
or a raspberry glaze.
Perhaps with chocolate
chunks ... or chips?
A moment in the mouth
but forever on the hips.
O' lovely cheesecake,
my creamy delight.
I think I'll have you
for my dinner tonight!!
Ode to Breasts

Sometimes, I sit...and ponder
And what I think, makes me wonder.
Is it an obsession, or merely lust,
that fascinates me with your bust?
They're in my dreams, so round, so fine...
If I polished them, would they shine?
I long for winter, frost on the yard,
Cause when it's cold, your nipples are hard.
But wait, what's this I see?
You're bending over...oh my...oh gee.
Yes, breasts are fine and strike my fancy,
but they don't hold a candle to a nice panty.
Ode to Fixed Asset Depreciation in the 1980's
by ~Rhys~ (© 11-6-98) ... for Fred
Whilst I was in school, they tried to teach
So many things, each and every week.
Imports, exports...the price of tea...
Strange theories about the economy.
Depression, recession, interest rates...
How much more do I have to take?
Reganomics, what the hell is that?
Sounds like an actor wearing a new hat...
Fixed asset depreciation in the 1980's,
I'd rather have that than a case of scabies.
I think I'll leave all of this to Fred,
or I'll have to put a bullet in my own head.
