RIVER ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST IS AN ONGOING MINISTRY WHOSE MISSION IS TO UPLIFT CHRIST BY SHARING
THE GOSPEL AND TO ENCOURAGE CHRISTIANS IN THEIR FAITH. WE PLAN TO DO THIS BOTH AT HOME IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND ABROAD, INCLUDING THE MISSIONARY WORK IN SOUTH AFRICA.
Our Teen Puppet Ministry and members of the Male and Female Teen Project who participated inthe 1996 SAMP campaign were Sharon Alexander, NyssaBroadnex, Bashirah Clark, Hamid Clark, Zakiyyah Clark,Michael Hudley, and Jeanette Walker. Sister GemmaBroadnex serves as the Coordinator and the Advisor.It has been said that when you make yourself available toGod, he can do great things through you. This statementwas seen in the works accomplished through our teens asthe delivered the word in songs and skits using theirpuppets. Many hidden talents came to the surface and acaterpillar was released from his cocoon (Michael Hudley).Whatever our young people were asked to do, they rose tothe challenge. Young people performingto the Glory ofGod. His strength and His power was evident through allthey were able to accomplish in His name.
