Do not fear to dream

To dream is to invision an almost unattainable goal.
That is something you work towards your entire life.
It is what you live for.
Without dreams there is no living,
nothing to look forward to,
nothing to work for,
and nothing to strive for.
With dreams comes hope,
the willingness to conquer the impossible,
the strength to challenge everything,
and the eagerness to overcome all obstacles.
With dreams come also fears,
the everlasting fear of failure,
that overused phrase I can't,
and those constant fears of what others think.
So do not what others say or do,
listen not to their words but your own.
Think big and dream often for that is the basis of life.
Remember, dreams are to live for do not fear them,
they will not hurt you,
they are what makes life interesting
and believing in them and yourself is everything

I write

For all those moments left behind,
Never to be known again.
For the heart that cries
When no one listens,
I write.

For the joy left to wither in vain,
For the souls whose love
Melts into pain,
I write.

Windows these for wishes unfulfilled,
So many fears and hurts,
For all these things,
I write.

For shells left uncollected,
Scattered endlessly along life's beach,
I write,
For the tears
I shall never shed,
Yet darkness enfolds my visions,
I write.

For those whose hearts
Travel the painful road of life,
With no place to turn
Or share their strife,
I write.

Words so very shallow
Shall never say what life knows,
Still for all these things,
I write.

Have the words become my soul?
Looking deeply into my heart?
Of this I can never know,
But still I write.

To share with others
The dream of better tomorrows,
Tomorrows waiting to become,
I write.

To share the past,
With all its times of question,
Pain and joy,
I write.

For in the end,
When all the words are done,
Are we more than letters
Placed hastily on a page,
Written down in the fleeting seconds
The vision lasts?

For this and more,
I write.
