At Christmas time it is so easy
to get caught up in the season.
Although the gift giving is great
let’s not forget the reason.

Christmas wasn’t created
for us to get more stuff.
Christmas was created to send a Savior
that would help us when times got rough.

The things we see at Christmas time
are created by our earthly need.
Now you see less of Jesus
and more of selfishness and greed.

This Christmas I wish for you
the things that money can’t buy.
I wish for you Peace and Love
and blessings from beyond the sky.

I wish for you the gift of knowing
that you are not alone.
That our Lord and Savior is near you
and he hears your every groan.

I wish for you the vision of seeing
the many gifts that He has already given.
Not the one’s wrapped in paper
but the one’s that were sent from Heaven.

I pray that you enjoy your family
and cherish each moment you spend.
Remembering our time is short here on earth
and when it’s gone money can’t buy it again.

This year I pray we treasure the gifts
we already have by God’s Amazing Grace.
Your real treasure on earth is not what you pile up
it’s the things you have that money cannot replace.
