Many people have e-mailed me, trying to send a message to
Mr. Bennett. I have edited some of them and placed them
here:
Subject: Thank you, Dr. Bennett Date: Sun, 26 Dec 1999 15:38:11 -0500 From: Gibbs <***@***.***> To: kegebein@planttel.net Dear Dr. Bennett, My children are now old enough to begin the emulation of others, and this has been quite a struggle for my wife and I over the years. I bought your children's books on Heroes and Virtues for them this Christmas. They love them, and I have to admit, they take me back to elementary school reading the large print "pocket books" for young readers. Your choice of virtuistic promise and choice of "true" heroes in your book are a tribute to America and all we have accomplished. I hope that my children, as well as all others, both children and their parents, will remember where we've been and, after reading your books, make a reality of the dream of where we can go. I thank you for your vision and direction for our country. Have a wonderful holiday season. Sincerely yours, Fred Gibbs ******, **
Subject: Date: Sun, 28 Feb 1999 11:13:32 -0200 From: Floss <*****@*****.net> To: kegebein@planttel.net Dear Mr. Bennett: We saw you on Meet The Press this morning. What a wonderful job you did! And there are many Americans out here who agree with you, that Clinton should be held accountable in some way, that he should answer questions. The senatevote.com site contained letters to Senators showing a much different percentage of people in favor of impeachment than the national polls showed. There is moral outrage. It just isn't reaching past the liberal leaning press. Both your books were great! Ought to be required reading in all colleges and law making bodies in this nation. Thank you for speaking for this very silent majority who will never be heard without great people like you to speak for them.
Subject: YES Date: Mon, 21 Dec 1998 22:52:18 -0500 From: Judith A King <*****@*****.net> To: kegebein@planttel.net I'd sure vote for THAT. I respect Mr. Bennett and his views more than any public figure I've heard speak since Howard Baker. He is HIGHLY intelligent, but more important has the upmost integrity--something we need desperately! Any chance he WOULD run?? I'd be most interested! Judy King
Subject: Today show Date: Mon, 21 Dec 1998 12:53:43 -0600 From: Shelley <****@****.net> To: kegebein@planttel.net Dr. Bennett; You were what I believe every American citizen should be this morning. Thank you for telling it like it is and calling for Matt, or anyone else to produce the Republican counterpart to James Carville. It is about time someone takes a stand, and you have. At least the media will give you a portion of time,(precious little) but a little is better than I or other Conservatives are able to obtain. Someone needs to broadcast the fact that the Republican Party are the Majority party in both house and Senate, indicating THE TRUE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE. Nobody seems to be saying that or emphasizing that fact as it should be broadcasted. Please add that to your presentation.... Keep up the good work! Layton Malone
Subject: William Bennett Date: Fri, 29 Jan 1999 18:32:21 -0500 From: James Pyne <****@*****.edu> To: kegebein@planttel.net Hello, I am a professor at the ***** University and am working on developing events for the National Day of Prayer (May 6th, 1999) here in **********. I would like to find out if there is any chance of bringing Mr. Bennett as keynote speaker on that day; possibly in a concert setting with liturgical music by great composers before and after his talk. If you are free to do so, would you please e-mail information about how to make contact for this purpose? Sincerely, ---Jim Pyne
