A view of Alpha Precision’s double dowel method of ejector housing installation. The two pins behind the housing screw hole are high strength heat treated dowels. They absorb the recoil: The screw simply prevents the housing from falling off. The corresponding holes are shown on the ejector housing on the right. This attachment method is extremely strong and will withstand the recoil of the Casull and Linebaugh cartridges. It has the advantage of allowing any barrel length instead being restricted to approximately 5 ½". On the left is Alpha Precision’s custom base pin. They are heat treated A2 tool steel (blue guns) or 400 series stainless. They are custom matched to your frame and cylinder for improved accuracy and handgun longevity.
