• The Power of a Praying Parent ~ Stormie Omartian ~ I loved this book!
• Where the Heart Is ~ Billie Letts ~ Now a movie that is out on video - but the book is best! (oprah pick, too)
• Under the Lake ~ Stuart Woods ~ it's a good one!!
• What's So Amazing About Grace? ~ Philip Yancey ~ AWESOME Book!!!
• Into the Forest ~ Jean Heglund ~ Recommended by Chinaberry - great!
• Gap Creek ~ Robert Morgan~ It was an Oprah pick ~ and it's really great!

Good books for EVERY type of family!

Welcome!! I LOVE to read!! Katie does too ~ which is one of the best things I've passed on to her, in my opinion! We read a lot together, and I can usually be found after she's in bed, with my nose in a book or magazine....it relaxes me and refreshes my spirit! Each month (more or less?!) I'll list some of the books I've read or am reading....check them out ~ you just may love them too! (It's a great time for Summer Reading - the library is doing a reading club - and Katie and I plan to read these books for her ~ Junie B. Jones is a Graduation Girl, Freckle Juice, How to Eat Fried Worms, Weslandia, Play Ball Amelia Bedelia, The Know-Nothings and My Father's Dragon. We'll let you know how they are! Happy Reading!
