My School - USAFA

This is the United States Air Force Academy. It is located on the East slope of the Rampart Range. The closest city is Colorado Springs, Colorado which is located just outside the South gate of the Academy. The elevation here is 7,258 feet above sea level. The cadet area is composed of nine major buildings which a cadet's life is center around. This picture gives a better look at this area.

The nine buildings are as follows: Vandenberg and Sijan Halls - cadet dorms, Fairchild Hall - academic buildings and administrative facilities, Consolidated Education and Training Facility (CETF) - laboratories and classrooms, Mitchell Hall - dining hall, Cadet Chapel, Arnold Hall - social center, Harmon Hall - administrative center, and the Cadet Gymnasium. These buildings have been named after Air Force officers who were particularly vital to the history of the Air Force and the Academy.

Here is a beatuiful picture of the chapel. The chapel has three parts to it: Protestant section - seat 1,200, Catholic - seat 600, and Jewish - seat 100. This allows for everyone to practice their religion.
