Friends
The love I felt,
I will never feel again
the love I was given
i will never be given again
A love so great, that only distance could strain it
friends now
but i am wanting more
more, though, is not possible
but the thought of the impossible
brings tears to my eyes,
and a warmth to my heart
until the distance is shortened
we will remain friends
yes friends, only friends
but friends will do
it will do.....
in my head
but try to convince that to my heart
for it will nto hear of "Friends"
alas, friends will we be, forever
