"JULEZ!!!" We cried as we stepped out of my car. The guys looked at us as if we were on crack. She saw us and we ran to her.
"hey gurly's!!" She said laughing.
"Hi!"
"Hey!" We replied.
"Come meet our friends." We dragged her by her arm over to the guys. She whispered,
"Your 'old' friends are three guys??"
"Yup!!"
"they're hot aren't they??"
"uh huh.." April answered.
"How did I know??" We shrugged. "Guys, this is our friend Julie, or we call her Julez, Julez, this is Brian, AJ and Nick."
"Hi guys." They all shook her hand and said hello.
"Alright guys, sorry to break this meet 'n' greet, but I'm hungry." Nick said. April laughed at him. So we all went in, ordered our food and sat down. I had AJ on my right side, and Julez on my left. Julie had Brian on her left, who had Nick on his left, who had April on his left, who finally had AJ on her left (you get the point).
"So, what do you girls do??" Brian asked. Julie started,
"well I work at Jive records…"
"You work at Jive??" Nick asked suddenly.
"yeah why?"
"Because, we're signed to it." Brian said smiling.
"Wow.. really??"
"Yeah, I knew I saw you before!!" She smiled. Then April continued,
"Krista and I have been modeling and singing, Julie's helping us get signed." I nodded in agreement.
"Well then, you girls will have to sing for us sometime, so we can bring up the topic next week when we talk to Donna…" I looked at AJ like 'Yeah-right!!' He smiled. I noticed April and Nick conveniently flirting. I saw him reach his hand over and take hers in his. Then I saw him wink at her. Then he leaned forward and gave her a small peck. I nudged AJ in his side. He looked over at me. I nodded my head towards the couple. I looked up and saw him looking down at me. He smiled and turned his head to look out a window.
Brian and Julie, now they were another story… Brian was making her laugh, and blush. He whispered in her ear, then kissed her cheek. I got to thinking, now that the other 'couples' were in their own world, I could talk to AJ. He finally looked back towards me,
"so, hows your mom??" I asked quietly.
"She's good. I think you should go with me to see her some time soon."
"That would be nice, I haven't seen her in so long. I haven't seen you in so long. What have you been up to other than the group?"
"Um… well… About a three weeks ago, I broke up with my girlfriend of 2 months…"
"I'm sorry…"
"It's alright, we were nothing alike, we didn't 'click'." I smiled.
"What about you? You have a boyfriend??"
"Not in this lifetime, haven't met that special someone yet.." But deep down in my mind I was saying that he was right in front of me. He nodded slowly.
We all finished eating and decided to head home and do something together tomorrow. Brian and Nick, kissed April and Julie, (long tongue kissers. lol). AJ Hugged me tight and kissed my cheek, in a friendly way, I was positive it was a friendly way. When he pulled away, he took his index finger and touched one of my dimples. I frowned playfully, he knew I hated that. I reached into my bag, and pulled out my card. This had my home phone number, my cell number, and my beeper number. We said goodbye and left.
~* In my car *~
"Ohmigod Krista!! That was so fun…"
"Fun cuz you got kissed??" I replied smirking at her.
"that too, but you got kissed too!!"
"A friendly kiss. That's all it was.."
"It looked like it could be more." I rolled my eyes then smiled.
"see you want it to be more!!" She cried smiling..
"I want it to be more. But it won't. He just had a break-up, he wouldn't want another one so soon!!"
"We'll see…"
"So, Is Nick a good kisser??" She slyly looked over at me…
"definitely…"
"Oh my god, two of my best friends are dating a Backstreet Boy!!"
"You'll be dating one soon…"
"Yeah tonight.."
"huh??" She asked confused.
"In my dreams…" I clarified. She rolled her eyes and popped in a CD I hadn't heard before.
"Who is this??"
"Enrique Iglesias." She showed me the cover.
"He's hott!!" I said after my study. She nodded in agreement.

Brian and Nick couldn't help but smile. AJ knew exactly why they were happy, and it made him jealous.
'AJ man c'mon, they're your friends, she's your friend. She's not gonna diss you like that. She's all there' His conscience said, but he couldn't help but think it. Brian noticed AJ's sudden smile.
"Bone??"
"Hmmm?"
"You like her don't you?" He sighed
"Is it wrong to want more from her???" He asked quietly.
"No!! Its not… you just need to tell her, before she finds someone."
"Change the subject. Nick what were you whispering to April??" This caused Nick to blush.
"I-.. I uh asked her out... on a date with me..."
"Go Nicky Boy!!" Brian cheered.
"What did you say Frick??" Nick asked.
"To April??"
"No To Julie.."
"Oh.. the same…" AJ smiled.
"I'll do it.."
"huh??" Nick and Brian said.
"I'll ask her out…"
"Really??"
"Yeah.. I just hope she will say yes.."
"Dude, did you see the way she was looking at you?? Smiling at you?? Responding to the kiss on the cheek. It's a definite yes!!"
"I hope your right Rok…"
"I know I am…"
"when should I??"
"Call her tonight…"
"You sure??" He nodded.
