Comments: | Very low gen audience tape of a complete show from the '77 tour. No hiss, however, the source tape speed is somewhat fast. There is a corrected version, which I WILL get my hands on. Overall, a very good release with some excellent performances. Gilmour's guitar work on the Animals tracks is truly inspired, especially on Pigs (3DO). The solo that rounds out this song is one of the most blistering performances I have heard. If you only want one '77 show, you should probably find "Plays the Animals" from LA. It is much cleaner, with proper speed. If you are looking for a second show from this tour, this rivals "Az.Co. 2" from a quality standpoint, but without the famous RW rants. With the exception of the tape speed issue this might rate an Excellent. |
