"Eye Hath Not Seen"

C.J. Ingerson
2/10/99

Verse 1
********

Can we as mortals comprehend
the beauty in store for us
who love the commandments
of the Lord and honor Him so?

Verse 2
********

Are we able to hear the hymns
of angels singings around us now
to listen to the still small voice
of who and what we might become?

Verse 3
********

Have our hearts softened to believe
in Heavenly Fathers love of us
enough to know it is true both
for not and forever if we are too?

Verse 4
********

For there are things prepared for us
who cannot see nor hear nor touch
but if we are obedient we can feel
this warmth of truth in our hearts.

Verse 5
*******

As the scriptures tell us over again;
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
and if we really do, all will come to pass
just as surely as the prophecies are fulfilled.

"Like I Will Ever Consider You an Imposition"

C.J. Ingerson
2/10/99

Verse 1
*******

You come to me as a friend in need
and then question if I'll stay by you
if I am as I say I'll be here indeed
and always my word is true.

Verse 2
********

So no you are not an imposition
you are a friend of mine instead
thus now with this proclamation
all the world knows and have read.

Verse 3
*******

That I have solemnly committed
we for life are friends to the end
of times on this earth consented
your friendship and mine I'll defend.
