The Fields of Mourning
Olim non fuimus mortales. respice lector,
in nihil ab nichilo quam cito recidimus.
Once we were not, then we having been born were quieted: now we are as we were, with care having been left behind, goodbye.
The Fields of Mourning are a special place for those who have been consumed and destroyed by love during their mortal lives, and for those who died in battle much lamented. The anguish and pain and unhappiness of that those who populate the Fields of Mourning experienced in life remains with them in death.
Evasi effugi. Spes et Fortuna valete,
nil mihi vobiscum est, ludifcate alios.
I have escaped, I have fled. Goodbye, Hope and Fortune, there is nothing for me with you, make a fool of others.
Wimp out and return the Second Level of the House of Hades
Continue on to the depths of Hell itself and witness the torments of your brother man
Experience the pleasures of Elysium
