There comes a time in every Father's life when he must let his little girl go.
A time to be happy, a time to be sad. To stand beside the child he watched with wonder, when she was a baby, taking her first steps on feet that were not accustomed to walking. Now they take a walk that will lead her away from her Father's house. Each step taking her farther away from her home, Her father's heart while filled with pride, hurting to see his baby walk as a woman. Knowing full well that he must let her go, to stand on her own feet.
He has done all that he could do and yet it does not seem enough somehow
. Oh anguished heart, be happy, for her happiness is what matters, shed the tears if you must, stand tall and walk this last mile with her. Do these things as she crosses over that bridge, take your place as the:
Father of the Bride.
