Whatz Crackin', Y'All?! 

Back from Miami & the Mixshow Power Summit that took place down there. It was cool & I really enjoyed myself. It was also good to link up with some heads I haven't seen in a while as well as put names to new faces I've communicated with over the phone or via email.

I got a chance to hear a lot of bangin ass albums due out soon. Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek's new joint is a straight up classic!!! M.O.P.'s album is just straight banger after banger jointz! M.O.P. should go no less than gold this time around and the Jay-Z & Scarface track I heard keeps ringing in my head ever since I heard it. I think it's called "Can't be Love" or something like that. Hot albums definitely on the way y'all.

Label heads, promotions cats, etc etc please make sure you holla at my friend & former partner on the airwaves the infamous "DJ Herk." People in the Philadelphia & central Pennsylvania areas may already know of him. He spins at plenty of parties & colleges in that area like Lincoln University, West Chester Univ, Beaver College, etc etc. We used to do a underground hip hop show together on WIXQ 91.7 FM & now he's getting back into making mixtapes & CDs. To me he's the personification of a well rounded DJ because he can observe the crowd/audience & do the right things to make sh*t rock. He's what some might consider to be a turntablist, but first & foremost he's an excellent party Dj who is diverse in spinning the hot reggae, commercial, house, and underground jointz.
