Whatz Crackin?!Yo I gotta say big ups to the Baltimore Ravens Superbowl Champs. All i can say to those New York Giant fans is at least the Raiders didn't get spanked that bad..... I can't wait until the Urban Network Conference in Cali. The panel on hip hop radio should be very interesting. I've been involved with non-commercial radio for 10 plus years & although some things have changed some have not. Some label reps still get respect even after they've left the game & some are ass out completely. I feel that I've earned a lot of people's respect & vice versa because we have never been a bunch of "Yes" people & told the truth when it was difficult. It doesn't mean that we wouldn't try to introduce a record to our audiences. Good or bad...we play it, say it, & the audience gives opinions either live on the air or in the street. That's how we do. The bottom line is good music is good music. Examples can be found in groups that blew with little or no promotion like Jill Scott, Musiq, etc etc etc. The panel should really be interesting. By the way Kev-Ice is a cool cat, but what in the hell is Run DMC doing? I've always been a fan, but I think..."It's Over" One L Back to top of page |

"Quite possibly my favorite joint off of the Lyricist Lounge 2 album!!
Legendary Street Team accurately describes the legendary Kool Genius of Rap
& Hip Hop's most underrated cats reppin' the streets of Brownsville!!! Ill
lyrics, ill delivery, & ill beatz = Bangin joint!!!"

Hot Joint #2 | ||
Coco Brovas | Get Up | Rawkus |
"I've heard that they've just finished shooting the video for this joint.
This is another one of my favorite jointz off the Lyricist Lounge 2 album.
Tek & Steele deliver over a track that's straight ridiculous!!! I'm glad
there will be a video because quality hip hop like this doesn't deserve to
be overlooked!!"

Hot Joint #3 | ||
Beatnuts | No Escapin This | Loud |
"After dropping the bonafide hip hop party banger 'Off the Books' the
Beatnuts return with another banger! With bangin' production and Greg Nice
servin as the ocassional hype man there will be no escapin' this joint from
the underground to the jiggie spots. 'Beat' your 'nuts' to this joint!!!"
