Esmeraude is in the bath when Saffir appears. He tell her to get busy and finish her mission, not wasting time in a bath. She tell him that she's already located another negative energy point. Then, she appears in a city and place another figurine in a cram school.

In the morning at school, everyone is looking at the exam results. As always, Ami is the first again. Usagi is glad for her, but some girls behind them are talking that it's strange Ami is always the first. Usagi ask Ami to ignore them. Ami says it's okay. Suddenly Umino appear with several boys holding a paper and accuse Ami of cheating. The others say that it's strange someone who usually hangs around with Usagi can get a good grade. Usagi and Naru try to defend Ami but it won't work, they won't listen. Not even a direct appeal from Naru can affect them. Makoto arrive and fight them. Ami ask Makoto to stop, because she doesn't care about it. She even more upset realizing that she missed a question on the exam.

Ami, Makoto and Usagi walk home. Makoto wonders about everyone's strange behaviour. Then Chibiusa catch up with them and ask if the rumour about Ami was cheating is true. Makoto and Usagi are ready to start pounding on people again, but Ami tell them not to, pretending that it doesn't matter. She runs off because she is upset. In her way to home people are whispering behind her. She ducks into an alley and cries, but suddenly she remember Usagi and the others believes her. Then she sees a poster about a new cram school in a pole, and realizes that all who accused her had gone there. 

She goes there by herself and transform. Outside the building, the droid who make all this trouble is flying. She call anyone listening but getting no response from the others. Meanwhile, Usagi comes running. The droid duplicate itself and start attacking Sailormercury. She use her Shabon Spray Freezing to defeat them, but more start coming again. This time Double Shabon Spray Freezing defeat them. Outside, the droids get and idea and plan to use her to kill the other senshi.

When the other senshi come, Sailormercury tell them that the place is full of dark energy and the droid might return. Outside, the droid power up it's antenna and attack Sailormercury mentally. This make her see an illusion that the others are insulting her. At first she think that they're only joking. But then she see another illusion, that they say Ami did cheat in the test. When the real Sailor senshi ask her what happened, she see them threatening her.

Outside, Usagi, Luna and Chibiusa arrive. Usagi transform and try to fight the droid. The droid use it's power to Usagi, who suddenly hear her friends insulting her. Suddenly she snaps out of it, telling that this trick won't work on a girl who's been insulted all her life. The droid can't believe this while Sailormoon beams. When the droid try to duplicate attack Sailormoon, a rose stop it. Tuxedo Kamen appear and  tell the droid to stop. But the duplicate attack him and knock him off the roof. Sailormoon runs to him. The droid intensifies it's illusion on Sailormercury, telling her to destroy everyone who insult her. She's being controlled by the droid. When the others try to help her, she push them and prepare to attack. They flee through the window to join Sailormoon and Tuxedo Kamen.

Everyone plead to Sailormercury to snap out of it. Sailormoon come to her, but Sailormercury knock her down. Sailormoon stand up. She doesn't believe that Sailormercury will hurt them. Suddenly Sailormercury come to her sense, and face the droid saying that it's she must destroy. Shine Aqua Illusion staggers the droid. She said that her friendship is too strong to be broken by a dirty trick like that. Sailormoon finish the droid off. The figurine shatters. Tuxedo Kamen praise them for their strong friendship and faith in each other. 

In the future Saffir interrupt Esmeraude in the bath again and is angry by her failure. But she tell him to leave because the only one she want to see her bathing is not Saffir. After Saffir leave, she too are angry because her plan failed again.

In the cram school, the girls thank Ami for not attacking them. She says that she knows they believe in her and that's all the matters. Umino and the other student who accuse her before arrive and apologize to Ami. They admire her good grades. She forgive them and say that her good grades come from studying. Usagi is annoyed by their sudden change in behavior, but the others remind her that it was because the dark power. Umino suddenly pop up and tell Usagi to go to cram school as well. But Usagi run saying she hates studying. Ami smiles seeing this.
