As Sailormercury, Ami is the brain of the senshi. With high IQ (it is said that her IQ is 300), she can solve many problems that happened. She has many talents such as swimming (and some other sports too), playing chess, speaking other languages, dancing, fixing cars (you don't believe it, do you ?), etc. She is rich but kind, diligent, and helpful, although a little too shy.

She grew up only with her mother, that's why she never got used to dealing with opposite sex. She also has a low self confidence, that is another reason why she like to study seriously. She's always careful not to offend and blame people, especially her friends, because she doesn't want to lose them. In her past, her friends always discriminate and reject her because it seems that she can't do anything except study. But may be they do that because they're jealous of her.

Sometimes she also surprised people because they don't expect her to do that. She slapped Sailormoon in the face to stop her from panicking. She also surprised Sailoruranus when helping her from an enemy that was holding her hostage. 

Also if you notice, she is the only one who has the defensive style in fighting. But that doesn't mean that she is useless. There must be at least someone to use support attack to make the enemy become vulnerable and confused, right ? And there should be someone to use a mini computer and visor to analyze the enemy too. And that is Mercury's job.

Attacks
- Shabon Spray ( Mercury Bubble Blast in NA version )
     Support attack, usually used before the others start attacking. Sailormercury use this to create a fog in battles to confuse the enemy. This will make the enemy become vulnerable. First used in Sailormoon episode.

- Shabon Spray Freezing ( Mercury Ice Bubble Freeze in NA version )
     Similar to Shabon Spray. The different is, this is not a support attack, it freeze the enemy directly. First used in Sailormoon R episode.

- Shine Aqua Illusion ( Mercury Ice Storm Blast in NA version )
     Sailormercury use this to throws water to the enemy. Don't underestimate this attack. It is more powerful than Shabon Spray. Appear in Sailormoon R and S episode.

- Mercury Aqua Rhapsody ( Not appeared yet in NA version )
     Generates a harp to blast the enemy with water. Appear in Sailormoon SuperS and Sailormoon Sailor Stars.

Mini Computer and Visor
Sailormercury uses this to examine and find out enemy weaknesses. She is the only one who has Mini Computer and Visor. Luna gave it to her in the first season.
