Recent news is USA Gymnastics!!!

-There is curretnly a training camp taking place at the Karolyi camp to decide participants on upcoming competitions.

-Jamie Dantzscher is reported to be having surgery on her hand/wrist for a currently unknown reason.

-Dominique Dawes supposedly broke a toe at the training camp.

-I have recently heard that Kristy Powell, co-national champion from 1997, 1995 American Cup Champion and participant in the 1996 Olympic Trials, has

RETIRED

!!! I do not know many details. I have heard that she wanted to retire now since she could go off on a high note, as national champion. She was reported to not have attended a training camp at the Karolyi camp to decide participants in the Goodwill Games and at the Pacific Alliance Championships, as stated above.
