Answer #1. Well, first build that food freight from Freight-City. Then put Freight-City to build a wonder. Move the freight from outside the city, and then enter it. A box will apear, and you'll have some options, including "Help Build Wonder", another one that I don't remeber now, something like "move unit"... and also "Establish Trade Route". Select to establish trade route, and then you'll have the food route stablished. |
When I gone this way I got the following:
So I may not establish trade route in this case... Sorry... |
Answer #2. Send the Caravan to a nearby city of your own. Enter the city and select option of keep moving. While in City, make this your home city and return to your origin. |
At the end of checking this letter I got the following:
This is not I want too... |
The first one (that fully coinced with mine) is the following: "This sounds like the notorious "no support" bug that I love to exploit. When enough cities are created ... any unit created in (or supported from) the later cities will in fact be considered independent. [If your empire is large enough, you can use this to turn your entire army independent, freeing up all your shields!] The unusual thing about this, uh, feature is that a freight or caravan built in such a city is likewise considered independent. To get the event you're describing, build a caravan in one of these "neutralizing" cities. The support should read "NONE", for independent. Then bring it to Freight-City -- which can be any city in the world, neutralizing or not -- and have it establish a trade route. Presto! There's your message." These are words of Robert Owen. And as I understand Li Ruoyan has the same answer - he sent me sav-file. | |
And there is the second way to get "NONE" freight: "Just bribing a foreign city caravan (when you bribe a unit that is closer to an enemy city than to your city it becomes a none unit) .... this one will appear after being bribed as belonging to NONE (as home city) but once you try to establish a trade route with Freight-City the message 'Food Caravan from Freight-City arrives in Freight-City' will be showed." The following civers sent me such answers:

"The freight moved all the way across the world, and was caught in a space-time coninum. then, suddenly, aliens invaded! the resulting chaos made it possible for the freight to scoot home with 3 wheels left. but, they got into the city and developed a trade route, because its home city thought the freight was from a rival city, and that it was bearing a much-needed peace offering. however, the computer caught the mistake a little too late, but it identified the error." |
