Hello my name is Brian and I want to say thanks for devoting at least some of your web page to the most astonishing and most beautiful actress to hit the screen. Renee Zellweger is the best. She is bright and beautiful. She brings her movies to life. I was very upset that she did not get noticed in her performance as Dorthoy in Jerry Maguire. I loved the scene at the end when Tom Cruise came back and started talking to her and she looks at him and said " Shut Up! Shut Up! You had me from the word hello". I thought that was brilliant. I also liked Empire Records which I do have ( A TRUE RENEE FAN I AM). I thought it was a little out of hand but I think that the film makers wanted it to be as real as they could get it. Record stores can get crazy. I know they may not do some of the things that the movie depicted but I thought it was fun to watch. I loved her voice when she sang towards the end. I first became interested in Renee after seeing Jerry Maguire, and after a few of my friends said I looked like her. Though that last statement is completely untrue (I don't see the resemblence), I really liked her in the film, but I'm one of the few people in America who didn't think the film itself was extremely good (good plot, lines...I just don't think it was put together very well, but that's another story) Where do you see all of her movies? I hope you weren't the one betting five dollars, Jacob. Renée was never on 'Married...'. Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy, Michael, SFW) was, though, and she is very often confused with Renée. Adams was one of Bud's girlfriends, and one of Kelly's friends. She was also on 'Top of the Heap', a short-lived 'Married...' spinoff that also starred 'Friend' Matt LeBlanc. The characters from 'Heap' often carried over onto 'Married...' so you probably had several opportunities to catch Adams.

No she wasn't. The oft-mistaken-for-Renée Joey Lauren Adams was in 'Mallrats', though.

One of the reasons I asked, is because the maker of the site also claims that the scene with Renee is one in which she appears naked. I'm sure if he was right, most sites would already have listed her in that movie. And most likely, somebody would have already put a photo of the scene on the internet. Another question about "Jerry Maguire". I have recently heard a version of "Secret Garden" by Bruce, where sound clips of the movie have been mixed into the song during the instrumental parts. I have been looking for a copy because they have the best lines from "Jerry Maguire". Do you know anything about where to obtain a copy of that version?

Hi, She has a small part [in '8 Seconds'], yet a little more than in The Low Life. She's on the screen about 1-2 minutes maybe. Luke Perry (Layne) is in a hotel room and she knocks on the door saying her "son?" is a big fan of his and would like his autograph...then she says it's cold outside and he lets her in the room...you can figure the rest out...unfortunately, the viewer has to as well as that end's Renee's scene. She never reappears. So she's the girl Layne has an affair with on his wife...oh well, at least Renee does get some screen time. I'd give the film an A, it has a great story, and Renee an A as well for her small, yet wonderfully played part. Hope this info helps you out some. I live about an hour from where Renee graduated High School! Just down the road from Katy, south east of Houston. I graduated a year after her though.

Art house movies make it to video fairly quick, so it should be out by late summer. None of her TV projects (Murder in the Heartland, Shake, Rattle and Rock and A Taste for Killing) are available on video.-p.e.

Thought Empire Records had potential for a cult picture, and it was actually fun to watch. Its worth watching a couple of times just for the "shock me, shock me, shock me......" line by Renee.

I just rented My Boyfriend's Back and its an OK flic. I tried to spot Renee. I think, but am still not sure, she is in one scene near the beginning walking on a side walk holding the hand of a child. The main actor is on a bicycle and waving at people and then rides through an elderly woman's flower garden on his way to school. If you find out anything better, let me know.

I was in a play with her in high school and she was great. She is extremely intelligent, unassuming and honest. I have just discovered the incredibly beautiful and talented Renee Zellweger.  I just watched Jerry Maquire on video, didn't see it in the cinema since I am not a huge Tom Cruise fan.  Renee totally stole the scene.  I was moved by her performance.

Renee went to h.s. and jr. high with me. We attended a few dances together. She was a high school cheerleader and she was nominated for homecoming queen. I lost my yearbook, but there is a picture of me handing her a rose and giving her a kiss on the football field on homecoming night. ummm...normally, i wouldn't do this...but i just finished watching "the whole wide world" and was completely entranced by it...i was looking for more information on the film and came across your site...while i agree with you that zellweger was remarkable...i think that d'onofrio was fantastic as well...as far as his performance, from what i have heard of howard's personality in real life, he does a stunning recreation of it...so i think, to some extent, it is unfair to trash his performance when he is attempting to portray someone who actually existed, and that person's quirks and mannerisms...were it a work of fiction, then maybe...well...in any event...thanks for having some info available on the film..i personally loved it...but can see where others would find it a bit unusual...

i think i have finally found her!!!!! i have watched my boyfriends back numerous times looking for renee. someone has said that she is in the beginning scene where johnny is riding his bike through town and whatever. well i looked for renee and looked and looked but i did not see her. i looked closely throughout the whole movie with nothing turning up. so i went back to the beginning and looked again. and then there she was. i think. i am pretty sure she is the girl in the back of the classroom wearing a white shirt. johnny is sitting in front of the girl of his dreams and in the back over his right shoulder there is renee. you can not really make her out real well but i am almost certain that it is her. the thing that makes me most positive that it is her is that she flips her hair a certain way in the movie. i then watched her in empire records and in dazed in confused and she flips her hair the same way. if you are able to watch this movie and write me back with your response i would greatly appreciate it. also if are able to obtain her e mail address of some sort i would greatly appreciate it. that way i could ask her where she appears in my boyfriends back as well as talk to her about her amazing career. i have been a fan of hers even before she hit it big in jerry maguire. i knew from the first time i saw her that she was going to be something special. thanks for making renee available on the net. keep up the good work.
