First of all congratulations to Renée's win at the Golden Globes. I was very disappointed she was not nominated for an Oscar though. Look out for her King of the Hill episode this month! Her movie Bridget Jones' Diary is out in April. The Nurse Betty DVD is coming out that month too (the VHS for rent Feb. 27) and it includes two commentaries - one is by director Neil La Bute, the other is by Renée, Morgan Freeman, Chris Rock and Greg Kinnear.

Many more pictures have been added (some lost, some brand-new) on the new Various Pics page. I believe the Bachelor and Love and a .45 pages work but the rest don't right now. But I think you will find plenty of good pictures on the new page. Also don't forget, you can see Renée in theatres twice this summer: June 23 in Me, Myself and Irene and July 13 in the critically-acclaimed Nurse Betty.

I have been working hard on making sure every Renée photo etc. works and if there are any problems, please e-mail me. I have also received lots of mail for her and will post it on the site ASAP. Also Renée just received a $200,000 "friendship ring from" Jim. I'll keep you posted on the latest "Hollywood couple."

Update - There she was with Carrey (who deservedly won) looking beautiful and shy at the Golden Globes. It hit me just then that they really were an item.

Nurse Betty is set for a July 14, 2000 release. And it's official. I like Carrey a lot. He's fantastic in Man on the Moon. And you better treat her right or we'll come lookin' for ya.

The Bachelor - Renée's new film The Bachelor hits theatres Nov. 5. I will keep a look out to see if she is on the talk show circuit to promote it like her costar Chris O'Donnell.

Tabloid rumors - Renée has been romantically linked to Jim Carrey. Also, The Bachelor trailer has hit theatres.

Update: Carrey was recently quoted as saying he has no one so perhaps there is nothing to those rumors.

What's this? - Renée making a public appearance? You heard right, she will be presenting at the "final VMA of the millennium," the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards for those who do not tune in religiously to Carson Daly (which would inevitably put us on the subject of Jennifer Love Hewitt, so I digress). Anyway, the awards are Sept. 9. 9/9/99, get it?
