Sherrie'
Austin
Sherrie'
Austin just might be the best female vocalist in country music today.
Her first album "Words" is tremendous. It includes songs like "Lucky
in Love," "One Solitary Tear," "Put your Heart into It," and my favorite,
"Words!" 7 of the 10 songs on her debut album were written or co-written
by her. Sherrie' Austin was opening for Johnny Cash by the age of
14. When Sherrie' turned 15 her family realized that her career wouldn't
go anywhere, as long as they were living in Australia. So they packed
up there things and came to the United States. They lived in Los
Angeles for several years, until Sherrie' decided that it was time for
her to move to Nashville. She sold her musical equipment just to
get money for an airplane ticket. Nashville is the place where she
met her co-producer and part song writer, Will Rambeaux.
