Who would have ever thought that Meal time could be so crazy and eventful. In this house we wouldn't know what to do with a dull moment. One night in particular, I am desperately trying to keep the house clean because within the next 15 hours I would be hosting a baby shower. It is dinner time and you guessed it Jon is on another trip. I had to stop putting all the left-overs away because Heather grabbed a full box of uncooked noodles and proceeded to shake them all over the floor. I was disturbed but this is just about par for the course. I had to get the broom out and sweep the noodles up as I am yelling for Heather and Cassie to quit jumping on the noodles and making them into minute pieces. (I haven't noticed that Hannah is not in the room), I get the vacuum cleaner to suck the rest of the mess up. WWWHEEWW that moment is over. So where is Hannah? "Oh no" there she is. She is sitting in the den on the fireplace hearth with the leftover spaghetti bowl on her head, noodles and sauce stringing down her head like a wig, Momentarily, I thought "great" at least it isn't anywhere else and as I looked around the room I knew that was an erroneous thought. There was spaghetti and red sauce all over the couch, the off-white carpet and every piece of furniture in the den. I just visioned she must had spread it through the room as a fairy would spread glitter. Another deep breath moment, and this time I put some dish soap and water on the areas and proceeded to bathe them one again during a crisis. The girls went to bed and I spent another hour on the carpet, on the couch and the other pieces of furniture scrubbing spaghetti sauce. But who would have known Palmolive Anti-Bacterial dish soap would have gotten it out.
