In the third book of the Harry Potter series, young Potter and his friends Hermione and Ron are beginning to grow up. Their time at Hogwarts is strained after it is learned a prisoner of the horrible wizard's prison of Azkaban has escaped, after muttering under his breath, "He's at Hogwart's." The school is guarded and danger lurks around every corner, but that doesn't deter Harry and his friends from having a good time while discovering more about the world of magic. With two new teachers, Professor Lupin in the Defense of the Dark Arts, and Hagrid, their old friend the groundskeeper as Care of Magical Creatures teacher, this year promises to be the most interesting one yet. Readers of all ages are once again engrossed in the story of the three friends and their adventures that will bring them to the brink of death and back (as usual).
