APOLOGIES AND CREDITS
When I first started my Web Page, I wandered off to find beautiful and exciting graphics to use. I started at the Lolis Graphics link on RUTH ANNE'S WEB PAGE, which gave me a few more links to graphics. I learned how to download and just right-clicked when I saw a graphic that appealed to me.
I knew I would eventually want to give credit and provide a link to the site where I obtained a graphic and I thought I'd remember which sites I grabbed the graphics from. WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.
Before I knew it (you've played this game before -- a link leads to more links leads to more links), I had LOTS of sites bookmarked. I had LOTS of graphics downloaded. I had no clue which graphic came from which site.
Then Tragedy struck. I had downloaded some graphics and bookmarked the sites, when -- you guessed it -- CRASH! before I had backed up.
SO I have these wonderful graphics and no clue where I got them. No, problem, I just begin at the same starting point and I'll find the pages. Wrong again. If I have used your graphics and not credited your site, please let me know and I will GLADLY credit you on my Graphic Links Page. In the meantime, please forgive a beginner's ignorance.
For instance, the three graphics below came from a beautiful page. I loved everything on it and grabbed these three to test on my page, fully intending to go back and get more. I have spent over a week looking for that page and can't find it anywhere. So, could you do me a favor? If, in your travels on the graphic pipeline, you come across these three graphics, could you please e-mail the url to me? I pay in gold stars. |
