George Crosswhite was born May 2, 1772 in Orange County, Va. and died Feb. 10, 1843 in Johnson County, Tenn. He married abt. 1796 To Sarah Adams and she was born Dec.22, 1779 in North Carolina and died Aug. 30,1867 in Johnson County, Tenn.

Abraham L. Crosswhite M.D. born Jan. 5, 1824 in Johnson County, Tenn. d: Nov. 1894 and buried at Crosswhite Cemetery in Johnson County, Tenn.

Abraham Lincoln Crosswhite was known as "Abe". Abarham, studied medicine and became a country doctor and practiced medicine in the area until his death.
Abarham, was also in the Civil War, Co.I, 13th Tennessee Calvary....He is listed as a Hospital Steward.
Abarham, was married to: Margaret E. McCall, Cynthia Whaley, Barbary Ellen Lewis, Nancy C. Clawson, Safrona C. Gregg.

Abarham L. Crosswhite married Jan. 29, 1846 in Johnson County, Tenn. by: Reuben Crosswhite To:Margaret E. McCall and she was born 1823 in North Carolina and died abt.1872 in Johnson County,Tenn.
