Daedalus Class Information:

Daedalus Class Starships were among Starfleets earliest exploratory vessels. Daedalus Class Starships were small, warp capable, and showed the first signs of the typical primary and secondary hull design. Dadalus Class Starships entered service around 2130, and were possibly involved in the Romulan Wars. Daedalus Class Starships were retired from service in 2196.
