As leader of the Jellicles for...well, a long time, Deuteronomy is getting up in his years and may not have much time left on earth. Who will replace him? Many say Munkustrap, but I wonder if he might have another life or two up his paw. Kind and wise, Deuteronomy is the only one who truly sympathizes with Grizabella at first when little is known about her hard life outside the junkyard. He was kidnapped from the Jellicle Ball by Macavity and his rats, but was returned safely with assistance from Mistoffelees and Rum Tum Tugger.
