Oh what a show is the best way to describe the event that took place. Yes, the Of Montreal show was an event, to say the least. Of Montreal went on after a short Great Lakes set, and all the members of the band were in costume. Kevin played his role as Claude Robert, and all the songs came alive and a magical feeling was felt by all. The set was made mostly of [songs from] The Gay Parade, but there were a few from the great The Bird that Continues to Eat the Rabbit's Flower EP. The best song of the whole show had to be the amazing encore that Kevin did of Honeymoon in San Francisco from The Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy LP, just him and a guitar. I think I even saw it bring a tear to the eyes of a few people. One of the best shows you could ever treat yourself to.
