Dismounted Cavalry Uniform and Equipment Requirements
The following is a List of Uniforms and Equipment that is required to create a Successful Impression as a Dismounted Cavalry Trooper of the Civil War, Both Confederate and Federal. As we WILL GALVANIZE when necessary, both types of Uniforms are ESSENTIAL. Other that the Required Equipment/Uniforms, it is recommended that you obtain a Poncho for wet weather, and a Cavalry Greatcoat for cold weather. Check with your Recruiter, CHUCK VOLNER, if you have any questions about Uniforms and/or Equipment standards. We give new Recruits ample time to obtain the Necessary items, and we will work WITH you to get you to the point of "getting it right"!

- Blue Federal Sack Coat
- Period Shirt
- Black Felt wide-Brimmed Hat
- Period Brogans or LEATHER-Soled Riding Boots
- Sabre or Cartridge Belt - Black
- US and CSA (or Equiv) Belt Buckles
- 2-Banded Musket or Sharps Cavalry Carbine
- .44 or .36 cal Cap & Ball Revolver w/ Holster
- Cap Box
- Carbine Cartridge Box
- Canteen
- Haversack - Black Waterproofed
- Carbine Sling
