If you were to die, would you go to heaven?
DID YOU KNOW THAT...
God loves you and wants you to live with him in heaven?
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
I John 5:11 - " And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."
the Bible teaches us that we are all sinners? Have you ever said, done, or thought anything wrong?
Romans 3:10 - "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,"
Galatians 3:22 - "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin..."
rejecting God's plan of eternal salvation will keep you out of heaven?
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death..."
James 1:15 - "...and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
John 5:40 - "And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life."
John 3:18 - "He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God."
being honest, truthful, kind, compassionate, loving, generous,
unselfish, trying to keep the Ten Commandments and even going to
church will not get you into heaven?
Proverbs 14:12 -"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but
the end thereof are the ways of death."
Isaiah 64:6 - "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our
iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
James 2:10 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend
in one point, he is guilty of all."
you, like everyone else, will all have to face a judgement day?
Hebrews 9:27 - "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after
this the judgement."
Revelation 20:12 - ""And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;
and the books were opened..."
God loves you and has made a way to heaven through his Son the Lord Jesus Christ?
Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Ephesians 2:8,9 - "For by grace are ye saved though faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Acts 4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Romans 6:23 - "... the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
you can go to heaven, no matter how bad you think your sin is?
Matthew 9:13 - "...for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Luke 19:10 - ":For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
What does God want you to do?
John 1:12 - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved."
How can you believe?
Romans 10:9,10 - "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
What can you do to show that you believe?
You can sincerely pray to God and tell him that you believe and want to accept His Son as your Saviour. You have probably seen the sinners prayer posted in other places, but I don't post it here. There is no magical incantation that must be repeated in order for you to be born again. Salvation is a personal relationship with God that begins by talking to him through prayer. You have read the above, if you feel the drawing power of the Holy Spirit inviting you into the family of God, I urge you not to shun the opportunity you have been given. Open up your heart and ask Jesus to come inside!
If you have truly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, then you can be assured that you are going to heaven.
John14:1-3 - "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
John5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
You can always be assured of His help.
Hebrews 13:5 - "...he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Matthew 28:20 - "...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world."
