There are very few artist in pop music history who have had a big hit and were able to have a similar sounding follow up song as a hit. Example: Chubby Checker did it 3 times with The Twist. But, again, this is a feat that's rally accomplished and most similar sounding sounds usually bomb. Sad to say our beloved Cheryl fell into this catagory when she released 'Fidelity', a poor man's version of 'Encore', as her first single release from her 6th and final Columbia album 'It's Gonna Be Right'. Cheryl, along with prolific writers and produces Jam & Lewis, should have all known better and just created another unique new sound for Cheryl just like they did with 'Encore', just to keep the momentum going. But this did not happen and people did not care for the similar sounds of 'Fidelity' and so the rest of the album was ignored. Which is a shame because cuts like 'Fade To Black', 'Love's Been Here Before' and 'Let Me Love You' could have a better impact than 'Fidelity', although not by much. I personally enjoyed 'Slipped Me A Mickey' but not as a single. The rest of the album is just decent. 3 ***
