Edsel Records presents two albums (I Refuse to Be Lonely and Forever with You) recorded for Philadelphia International label in 1995 and 1998 respectively. Soul diva Phyllis Hyman had already enjoyed a very successful career by the time she signed to Philadelphia International in 1986. Her first two releases with the label were the biggest albums of her career, and her third PIR album, I Refuse To Be Lonely, issued in 1995, reached #12. Sadly, between finishing the album and its release, Phyllis committed suicide. The fourth album, Forever With You, was assembled as a testament to Ms. Hyman's talents by PIR from their stockpile of excellent recordings. (Edsel 2006) ...TRACKLISTING... 1.
