IM PHYLLIS' 3RD COUSIN. IVE LAID DOWN ON THE FLOOR WITH MY EAR NEXT TO THE SPEAKER SO I COULD FEEL HER GO THROUGH ME TO MY SOUL. IVE ALWAYS LOVED PHYLLIS, BUT I MISS HER SO MUCH. THE WORLD IS A LITTLE DIMMER NOW WITH OUT HER LIGHT. I AM SO GREATFUL YOU HAVE THIS WEBSITE DEDICATED TO HER. BECAUSE SHE MAY NOT HAVE REALIZED IT IN LIFE AS A RESULT OF TURNS HER CAREER TOOK, BUT PHYLLIS YOU ARE TRULY LOVED AND VERY MUCH MISSED BY YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FANS. BUT YOU LIVE ON THROUGH YOUR MUSIC AND WE THANK YOU FOR BLESSING US WITH THIS LEGACY.
Phyliss Hyman left before her time. I adored her music, and i still do. i recently let someone copy my c.d. and it was never returned to me, to my dismay I have lamented about that for one year. I could always count on her music and words to get me through every situation. I miss her so much. At the time of her demise, I was in that same place emotionally. Phyliss gave me hope. As morbid as it sounds, she saved my life. I remember exactly where I was on the day she died. It left a hole in my heart and soul. I loved that LADY and a lady she was indeed. A sophisticated Lady. I might add. I miss you Phyliss. There are none in this time that can hold a candle to you lady. Much Love and rememberance. She was one Star that still shines.
