Southern Style
What is a southern woman? Ask 100 people and you will get 100 different answers. I have been a southern gal for almost 4 years so I will give you my opinion.
Southern style is an attitude and a confidence we have in ourselves. We come in different sizes, shapes, and colors. We may be a corporate lawyer or a stay at home mom. A southern gal may live in a condo in Atlanta, or a farm in a rural community. On the outside we are sugar and spice and everything nice, but don't ever anger one of us. We will melt your heart with our smile, or make you cringe from our glare.
We have been known to work on the family tractor, cut grass all day, tend to a sick child, cook dinner, wash clothes and not even perspire. No, a southern woman does not sweat. Don't forget to open the door for us. You may find your-self walking in the store thinking your wife is by your side. At the instant you realize your mistake you blush and turn and see your wife still standing outside. She will smile sweetly as you come back outside to open the door for her. Our family and friends are everything to us. We proudly and fiercely protect our children. Our spouses have our 100% backing. A neighbor in need is likely to wake up to bags of food on his front porch and a word will never be spoken.
