Our Church Ministries
SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof
for correction, for instruction inrighteousness." II Timothy 3:16
Our Sunday School is based upon sound Bible teaching. From the Nursery through Adult
Departments, the Bible is proclaimed as the Word of God. There is a place in Sunday School
for every member of the family.
WORSHIP SERVICE
"Preach the word; he instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine." II Timothy 4:2
Our Worship hour is that time whereby the preaching of the Word, sinners are evangelized
and the saints are edified. A time where believers together sing, pray, praise, and worship
our Heavenly Father.
YOUTH MINISTRY
"Let no man despise thy youth....." I Timothy4:12
Our Youth Department is committed to producing mature Christian youth. Our desire is to
see teens come to know Christ as their personal Saviour and to be successful and productive
Christian citizens and family members. As well as Sunday morning services, we have regular
activities, camps, retreats, parent meetings and other tools to reach our goal of reaching and
teaching young people for the glory of God. The Youth Department has a definite philosophy,
purpose, goal, and workable strategy to see that our teenagers have a first-class program.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
"....Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of is the kingdom of God. "
Luke 18:16
We have a graded Sunday School for all ages, as well as Children's Church for Beginners and
Primaries. 0n Wednesday evenings at 7:00 we have a full Master Club program for preschool
through 6th grade. Many activities, sports and competitions (regional, state & nationwide)
add to the excitement and quality of the Master Club ministry to evangelize and train children for Christ.
COLLEGE/CAREER/SINGLES/YOUNG ADULT
"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth......" Ecclesiastes 12:1
Our desire is to reach young adults, both single and married. We realize that today's young adult
will be tomorrow's families. Through our ministry we wish to train future parents in Bilical principles
that will be applied in the raising of these future families.
JAIL AND RESCUE MISSION
Every month our church holds services in the jail & rescue mission. Our ladies and men present the
Gospel to these needy people and many accept Christ as their personal Saviout
SENIOR SAINTS
"Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father....." Matthew 13:43
This is our "Senior Saints" ministry. As every person grows into their golden years this ministry seeks to keep
our elder members active and in love with the Saviour. Trips together, projects together, helping the
local church minister to others is part of the program. In turp the church body itself works on meeting
the needs of our most experienced members. The Senior Saints meet every month for lunch and fellowship
and a devotional time in the Word.
MUSIC MINISTRY
"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your
heart to the Lord." Ephesians 5:19
Music is an integral part of every worship service at Grace Baptist Church. Along with our Sanctuary Choir
we have special groups and outstanding soloists who bless and encourage the listeners and provide an
atmosphere that will compliment the preaching of God's Word. Special musical events are also planned
each year.
GRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
"Train up a child in the way he should go. Proverbs 22:6 This is another ministry of our local church.
The purposc of our school is to provide the finest of traditional classroom instruction that is truly Christian
and supportive of our homes and our church. Grace Baptist offers an excellent program academically and
athletically for grades K3--12. It is fundamental in its doctrine, conservative in its educational philosophy
and seeks to have a Christ honoring atmosphere for all of its students. A Christian education does
not cost---it pays!
BUS MINISTRY
Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23
As part of our outreach program, we seek to bring boys and girls, men and women to a saving knowledge of
the Lord Jesus Christ and to provide a way to and from church for those with that need.
MISSIONS
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations. . " Mathew28:19
Grace Baptist has long been recognized as a great missionary church. We support foreign and home missions
through much prayer and monetary contributions so that we can get the good news of the Gospel to a lost and
dying world. We are supporting over 90 missionaries.
VISITATION
"........ How beautiful ore the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace. and bring glad tidings of good things!"
Romans 10:15
All members arc encouraged to be a part of our visitation program to spread the Gosgel to our Jerusalem and Judea and to help minister to as many as possible. We have regular visitation on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Also, we have a Faith Promise Winning Program.
