'Proposal Regarding the Southern Marches'

In period times, alliances were drawn up between various groups for their mutual benefit. Following this custom, we--with the approval of the groups we represent--do hereby ally ourselves together for our groups' mutual benefit.

*

By location, we are far from most kingdom events and activities yet we wish to meet with fellow Meridians to share fighting and non-fighting skills. Hence, this alliance.

With member groups sharing a common border with Trimaris, Meridian customs and traditions must be encouraged and maintained else they be supplanted by their Trimarian counterparts. Hence, this alliance.

Through our efforts in fighting, service, and the arts and sciences, Meridian influence will be increased along its southern frontier. Hence, this alliance.

*

Thus, we--the undersigned seneschales/seneschals--do formally declare the existence of the Alliance of the Southern Marches and its loyalty to Meridies. Done this ---- day of ----------, A.S. -----, ---- Gregorian.
