This Is Ira Wilkins Page, My family & I had the honor of meeting Ira who is Erica's kidney/pancreas recipient on 10/17/98. Ira is a wonderful person. We have kept in touch since then. We saw him again on Mothers Day weekend of 2003, he told me of plans to get together a fund raisier for the Georgia Transplant Foundation. Alot of work & planning went into organizing this event. On the night of 7/31/03 the big night was here. My family & I went to Atlanta Ga and a wonderful night we did have. Ira hosted a awesome silent auction fund raiser with the proceed to be donated to Georgia Transplant Foundation in Erica's memory. This was such a great thing & it ended up with 25K being donated to the foundation. I just want to thank Ira & Susan his girlfriend from the bottom of my heart for the great event they hosted. I will never forget this evening. I got to meet Ira's Mother & Father for the first time & that was so touching. Thank You to Ira, Susan & her children for making us feel so welcome in Atlanta. We love you.
