Peter White was born 1807 in Appling. County, Georgia to Simeon White and Unknown mother. He was a grandson to Vincent White and Unknown grandmother of Hall Co., GA. At this time we have not been able to discover his death date. He married Jane Fiveash about 1834. She was born 1822 in Appling County, Georgia to John Fiveash and Ollie Sutton. We do not have her death date presently.

I. Allen Van White-(1835-1862) But there is more recent information about his death in the CSA which I will add. He married Delpha Minshew about 1851 in Clinch County, GA, daughter of Isaac Minshew (1807-abt 1858) and Mary Butts (1812-1851). She was born 15 Jan 1830 in Ware Co., GA and died 19 Dec 1885 in Ware Co., GA. Delpha was a granddaughter of David Butts (?-1851) and Abraham Minshew, Jr. (1773-1853)` and Fannie Shackeford (7 Dec 1777-24 Nov 1837).

1. Jacob Riley (4 March 1854-6 July 1924) Jacob married Cecilia Ann Corbitt (26 Jan 1862-9 Jan 1937) on 24 Jan 1878 in Manor, Georgia. She was a daughter of Edmund Corbitt (1830-31 Oct 1862) (Edmund died in the CSA in Richmond, VA.) and Elender Carter (1 Mar 1826-23 Mar 1890), and a granddaughter of John Corbitt (1780-1854) and Penny Unknown (1790-1867) and Isaac Carter (1790-1854) and Elender (Nellie) Tetstom (abt 1790-aft 1843), and a great-granddaughter of Daniel Corbitt, RS (abt 1755-Mar 1801), Martha Unknown Corbitt (?-aft 1802), and George Carter, Sr. (abt 1740-1822).
Children of Jacob and Cecilia:
1.) George Walter born 7 Nov 1878 in Ware Co., GA and died 12 July 1955, buried in Booth cemetery. Married Georgia E. Booth (24 Jan 1878-1 Apr 1905) a daughter of Nancy Emma Inman and William David Booth. Two infants are buried here, Robert P. (12 Jan 01-12 Nov 01) and Floy (18 Aug 04-22 July 05). Georgia and Floy died of a fever. Two children, Nell, called Sis, and Dewey survived. Dewey died in WWI in France. His second wife was Amy Unknown who died when her dress caught fire when burning leaves. Both of these wives are buried in Booth cemetery. He married Alma Gertrude "Trudy" Gurr. She was a daughter of Thomas Moses Gurr (1870-1918) and Alma Deborah Dupree (1874-1958). Trudy was a couple of years younger than Nell. They had eight children: Jake, Carswell, Hinton, Frank, Deborah, Evelyn, Walt, and Jeannie. Dates to be added.

3.) Joseph David born 24 July 1884 in Manor, Ware Co., GA and died 22 March 1942. He married Rosa Leona Boyd born 12 April 1895 and died 15 Dec 1982. "Rose" was the twin sister to Isaac B. Boyd. Their children are Infant son, Dewey, Veda, Leonard, Cleara, Harry, Bertha, Joseph Roy, Desso, Bobby, Curtis, and Margaret.
4.) Mary Jane born Aug 1888 in Manor, GA and died 11 Aug 1930. She is buried at her father's feet. Her marker says "Mother". She married Benjamin Jessie Cribb, a son of Elizabeth "Betty" Dryden and Edward Mitchell Cribb. Next to Mary is Jessie Cribb 2 Oct 1885-20 July 1947. His marker says "Father". In the same plot are found Mary M. Cribb with no dates on her marker. Frank Cribb 1909-1939; Herbert Cribb 9 May 1914-20 Aug 1943; Littie M. Cribb Newton (Is this Lilly Mae? 19 Feb 1919-6 Mar 1970. Mary and Jessie's children are Frank, Lilly Mae, Aline (2 Oct 1911-9 Nov 1947 of postnatal complications. The child also died. Aline married Richard B. Boyd brother to William Arthur Boyd. Dick was born 10 Oct 1898 and died 15 Feb 1981.), Harold, and Herbert.
5.) Sarah Ella born 22 Aug 1889 in Manor, GA and died 5 Dec 1979 at Baptist Village Nursing Home in Waycross, Ware Co., GA. She married her 3rd cousin, William Arthur Boyd (9 Oct 1884-20 May 1942), a son of Thomas Latimer Boyd (3 Jan 1860-20 June 1929) and Nancy Ann Corbitt (4 June 1857-24 Feb 1941) a grandson of Elijah Boyd/Boyt and Elizabeth Martin, Daniel Corbitt (1 Feb 1809-15 Nov 1889) and Mary Ann Letitia Bennett (1815-1887), on 27 January 1908 at the home of her parents in Manor, GA. Dr. Little performed the ceremony.

6.) Carey W. was born Dec 1892 in Manor, GA and died unknown at this time in the Veterans' Hospital in Lake City, FL.. He married Tobitha Unknown. Carey lived with his sister Pearl and husband Ike the last years of his life. His children are Martha, J.B., and Mildred.
7.) Lonny was born Aug 1895 in Manor, GA and died unknown at this time. He married Eula Mae Unknown.
8.) Thomas J. was born Dec 1897 in Manor, GA and died unknown at this time. He was electrocuted while doing electric work on his daughter's home in West Palm Beach, FL. He married Ethel Jordan.

(In researching this I found it fascinating how Richard and Rachel are related to one another and also how they are related to me on my Father's side and on my Mother's. Richard was a son of Henry Bennett (1789-abt 1835) and Margaret Sheffield (1785-after 1850) daughter of William Sheffield (1745-1826) and Mary Abbott (abt 1750-?) His grandparents were Richard Bennett (1756-1830) and Mary Cook (1769-1847). Rachel was a daughter of Josiah Westberry (abt 1802-1845) and Rachel West (1805-June 1881) (They married in 1822.) and the granddaughter of Moses Westberry (2 Mar 1772-abt 1864) and Elizabeth Bennett (1783-?) the daughter of Richard Bennett and Mary Cook.) (According to Geraldine Westberry Johnson in an email dated 28 Aug 2000, Moses Westberry's wife was Elizabeth Brown, Daughter of Robert Brown and his wife Eliza Byrd Brown, not Elizabeth Bennett, daughter of Richard Bennett. The Browns were from South Carolina.)

I know that the surname Minshew is later spelled Minchew but I have kept it the former, the way Huxford spelled it originally and the way it is written on the monuments to my Minshews in SE GA.
